The Black Hills’ finest ice cream and frozen treats

Short answer: whenever they sell out. It completely depends on the time of the year, popularity of the flavor, and even day of the week (weekends seeing more frequent flavor rotation). Sometimes an ice cream will sell out in a week, sometimes it will sell out in an afternoon!

Oh THAT smell...yeah, it's kind of our signature scent. That delicious waft drifting by is from cranking out our secret-recipe, house-made (and gluten-free!) waffle cones. We know it's hard to believe, but they taste even better than they smell!

Like utter delicious joy, but take a taste for yourself! We're happy to provide you with a sample of any of our ice creams featured on our flavor board.

All the ice cream is made in-house! We churn up our small batch (and do all of our baking) in our kitchen, which is located right at the back of our shop.

We've never understood the appeal of food coloring. It seems so unnecessary...so we avoid it as much as possible.

Most of our vegan flavors are made with coconut milk, but we also experiment with other forms of non-dairy milks and plant fats. Wondering about a particular flavor? Ask our staff-- they're here to answer any and all questions about our menu!

Our Scoop it Forward Board is the best way to treat a pal anonymously! Here's the gist: you tell us who you'd like to treat, what you'd like to treat them to (a scoop, a sundae, a pint, etc.), and pay at the register in advance. We keep a log of all the name/ice cream combos, and rotate them on to our giant Scoop it Forward chalkboard!

Indeed, it is! During our summer season, we're scooping every day (barring Tuesdays) from noon until 10. During the winter season, we close at 9pm, but are still open each day (except Tuesdays).

While our employment opportunities increase in the summer season, we also offer year-round positions and are always accepting applications.
