Each year, we're so fortunate to be able to participate in the raucous event by creating a deliciously seedy and scoopable concoction themed around the almighty, magical seed. You may recall that last year we even had Trish and Jeremy of Cycle Farm out front the shop with a fantastic diy seed bomb station to celebrate our Seed Bomb Ice Cream. 'Twas a blast. Don't miss this year's seed bomb making at Saturday's For the Bees fundraiser at Crow Peak Brewing Co.! Details for that event here. Now, down to brass tacks. What is this year's newest flavor? Ahem, without further ado-- Cacao Nib and Almond!
BUT WAIT! It's much more beguiling than it sounds (we couldn't squeeze it all in to the flavor name, because it would just be so annooooying to do that, okay?). We say this every year, but this seed swap ice cream really might be our favorite...AND SO SEEDY! We start with a blank slate-- our Sweet Cream Ice Cream. Then we mix together creamy almond butter with Sunrise Hives honey to swirl throughout. THEN, we riddle the whole batch with our salty-sweet, cocoa-dusted almonds and crunchy cacao nibs (lightly sweetened with coconut sugar!).
