It's heeeere! The annual Spearfish Seed Swap is SUCH a joyous occasion, and we are absolutely chuffed that we get the opportunity to create a deliciously seedy flavor to celebrate each year. Also(!!) once again, Cycle Farm will be hosting a seed bomb station out front of the creamery on Saturday, March 9th, from 1-2:30! Black Hills Bricks, Bots, and Beakers will be set up alongside them with a fun rock painting activity... BE THERE! Now, on to the tasty details. 2024 seems like the year to go big, go bold, you know? That being said, we incorporated the "seed theme" in multiple ways througout this year's ice cream. What is the flavor??
Thyme and Cream Cheese with Peach Chia Jam!
We know, we know, a bit of a mouthful to say, but totally worth each tasty mouthful to eat. It's very herby and cream cheesy, with a bright little punch of color and flavor from our housemade peach chia jam! By the way, chia jam is sooo fun/easy/nutritious to make. Here's a great recipe to follow if you'd like to make it at home. Additionally, here's a fun link about repurposing your peach (or other fruit!) pits.
